ASUC Executive Director, Rob Withers, has been invited to join Build UK’s Steering Group on CITB Reform.
The Steering Group will meet regularly to monitor CITB against its Business Plan and those specific asks made by Build UK. Members of the group will be responsible for supporting CITB with the implementation of new projects/ driving change within their organisations and memberships.
The Build UK expectations were clearly set out to CITB as part of the consensus process last year. The letter from Build UK to CITB focussed on the need for CITB to make major reform in the following areas: Strategic direction, governance, funding and communications
Build UK sees its role as monitoring, supporting and ensuring that CITB implements its published Business plan and that it delivers the expectations clearly set out by Build UK.
